A new roadmap was posted on the RuneScape site recently, offering players of the free-to-play MMORPG a look at what’s to come throughout the rest of the month – leading up to the release of Havenhythe Part II on September 28. Before Havenhythe Part II hits players will be wrapping up Leagues II: Equilibrium on September 21. But that’s not all that’s happening.
Next week, Jagex will be pushing an engine update. This update will unlock the beta for Vulkan and introduce other game changes that the devs weren’t able to do previously.
In the last week of the month, they’ll be dropping the “Deep Clean” update. This update will address a variety of things. For instance, they’ll be cleaning up visuals by unifying icons and making sure they all use a similar style. Login messages may be trimmed. A lot of info box popups will be removed. And, other visual updates will be pushed as well. More details on this are available in the post on the RuneScape site.
